1. Acceptance of the Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Bond application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User”) and the developers of Bond (“we” or “Bond”).

2. Service Description
Bond is a therapeutic support application focused on enhancing emotional well-being and personal relationships. Through the App, we provide content, exercises, and self-help tools to help users work on their relationships. Bond is not a professional medical or psychological service but rather a self-help resource. The information provided in the App is general and educational. Always consult a qualified professional if you require specialized medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

3. Eligibility and Minimum Age
To use Bond, you must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence). The App is not intended for minors. If you are under 18, you should not create an account or use Bond without the supervision and consent of your parents or legal guardians. By accepting these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. User Account and Registration
You may be required to create a user account to use certain features of Bond. When registering, you may be asked to provide personal information such as age, gender, relationship status, or other relevant data to offer you a personalized experience. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during registration and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you detect any unauthorized access or suspect that your account has been compromised, please notify us immediately at our support email (see the Contact section).

5. Subscriptions and Payments
Bond offers Premium content and features through paid subscriptions, which may be monthly or annual. Currently, subscriptions are managed exclusively through the Apple App Store as in-app purchases. No free trial period is offered at this time, so charges begin immediately upon confirming your subscription.

  • Payment Processing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Apple may request your authorization and payment details according to its own terms and conditions. Bond does not have access to your personal financial information (e.g., credit card number); all payment processing is handled by Apple.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly or annual), and Apple will charge your account again unless you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple will notify you of the renewal cost, and by subscribing, you authorize the auto-renewal. You can manage or disable auto-renewal at any time through your Apple ID settings (App Store > Profile > Subscriptions).

  • Price Changes: Bond reserves the right to modify subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated within the App or through the App Store in advance. Changes will not affect the period already paid; they will take effect upon subscription renewal. If you do not agree with a price increase, you may cancel the auto-renewal before the new price becomes effective.

6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Apple App Store. Cancellation will prevent future charges but does not automatically refund the period already paid. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to Bond’s Premium features until the end of the current subscription period, after which you will not be charged further.

To cancel your subscription on iOS, please follow these general steps:

  • Open the Settings app on your Apple device.

  • Tap your name or Apple ID, then select “Subscriptions.”

  • Choose the Bond subscription and select “Cancel Subscription.”

If you encounter difficulties cancelling, please consult Apple Support or contact us for assistance. Note that deleting the Bond app from your device does not automatically cancel the subscription; it must be cancelled via the App Store to stop future charges.

7. Refund Policy
Purchases made through the App Store: Since Bond subscriptions are purchased via the App Store, we cannot directly process refunds or cancellations of payments. All transactions are subject to Apple’s policies. If you wish to request a refund for a Bond subscription, you must do so through Apple Support or the Apple purchase management portal (e.g., Apple’s “Report a Problem” website). Apple will evaluate your refund request according to its policies (e.g., in cases of accidental purchases, technical issues with the app, etc.).

No partial refunds: In general, refunds are not granted for unused portions of a subscription period. This means that if you cancel mid-month or mid-year, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of the period, but you will not receive a refund for the remaining days.

Legal exceptions: If the laws in your country grant refund or cancellation rights within a specified period (for example, some EU jurisdictions allow digital purchases to be withdrawn within 14 days), those provisions will be respected. To exercise these rights, you may still need to process the request through Apple. Please contact us if in doubt, and we will guide you based on applicable local policies and Apple’s policies.

8. Appropriate Use of the App
You agree to use Bond solely for personal, lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Using the App for any illegal, immoral, or unauthorized purpose.

  • Attempting to access the source code, decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the App.

  • Reproducing, duplicating, copying, distributing, or exploiting any part of the App or its content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

  • Transmitting any defamatory, obscene, offensive, threatening, or infringing content via Bond.

  • Impersonating another person or falsifying information in your use of the App.

Failure to comply with the above rules may result in the suspension or termination of your access to Bond, with no right to a refund, in addition to any legal actions that may be taken.

9. Intellectual Property
All rights to Bond, including its software, design, logos, the “Bond” trademark, texts, illustrations, and all other content provided, are the exclusive property of us or our licensors. The App and its content are protected by international intellectual property and copyright laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Bond and its content solely for personal and non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the App or its content. You shall not, without our prior written consent, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works, display, or exploit any part of Bond’s content except as expressly permitted by the functionality of the App.

10. Disclaimer (Not a Substitute for Professional Advice)
Bond is a self-help and emotional support tool, not a professional medical or psychological service. While we strive to provide useful and high-quality content, we do not guarantee specific improvements in your personal well-being or relationships. The information and advice provided in the App are general in nature and do not constitute personalized advice for your individual situation.
You acknowledge that:

  • Bond does not replace therapy or professional advice from licensed professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, etc.). If you are facing an emotional crisis, serious mental health issues, or any situation requiring professional attention, you should seek help from a qualified professional.

  • We do not guarantee that using Bond will improve your relationship or emotional state in any specific way; results may vary by user.

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties regarding Bond, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of content.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither Bond nor its developers, affiliates, or partners shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the App. This includes, without limitation, damages for data loss, emotional distress, lost income, interruption of personal or professional activities, or any other damages purportedly resulting from the use of Bond.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims related to Bond (whether under contract, tort, negligence, or any other theory) shall be limited to the total amount actually paid by you to Bond in the preceding 12 months for the subscription service. If you use the free version of the App (or free features), our liability is limited to zero since no payment was made.
Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for cases of willful misconduct, fraud, or for any damages that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. You may have additional rights under your jurisdiction; these Terms do not intend to restrict any legal rights that cannot be waived under applicable law (for example, consumer rights under applicable consumer protection laws).

12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is very important to us. The processing of your personal data in connection with your use of Bond is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. The Privacy Policy details what data we collect, how we use it, the legal bases for its processing, and your rights regarding data protection. By using Bond, you consent to us collecting and processing your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. We strongly encourage you to read that document separately to understand our privacy practices.

13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Bond, either temporarily or permanently, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, misused the App, or for reasons related to security, maintenance, or discontinuation of the service. In the event of termination due to your non-compliance, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees paid.
You also have the right to cease using Bond at any time. If you wish to delete your account and personal data, you may do so through the App (see the Privacy Policy for further details on data deletion) or by contacting our support email. Cancellation of the subscription (as described in Section 6) must be done by you through Apple. Deleting your Bond account does not automatically cancel subscription payments managed by Apple.

14. Modifications to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time, for example, to comply with legal changes, add new features to the App, or update our business practices. When we modify the Terms, we will notify you through available means (e.g., in-app notification or email, if applicable) and post the new version on our platform with the updated effective date.
Modifications will take effect from the date of publication or the effective date stated. Continued use of Bond after the new Terms take effect will constitute your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the modifications, you must stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Colombia, except where mandatory consumer protection or other laws in your country of residence provide otherwise to your benefit. This means that we will respect any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
In the event of any dispute or claim related to Bond or these Terms, we will attempt to resolve it amicably. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, and unless a local law provides a different non-waivable forum, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombia, located in Bogotá. However, nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any legal rights that may be applicable to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
